Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who played well for Pakistan in the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup, explained how he spent two days in hospital before the semi-finals and why he always kept his pillow with him.
Let me remind you that before the semi-final match between Pakistan and Australia on Thursday, Muhammad Rizwan had spent two days in hospital and after that he not only played but also scored important 67 runs.
During the match, it did not feel at all that Mohammad Rizwan had come from the hospital to play the match.
In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan's wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, speaking for the first time about his illness, said, "It all happened quietly and I didn't want to tell."
"It was a strange situation," he said. My family was also with me. I told them that I was going to have ECG at the hotel, but I had to go to the hospital where I was holding my breath.
The doctor said his food and breathing tubes were closed, but he said he would be fine by morning.
"When I asked the nurse, she told me that if you were 20 minutes late, both your tubes would burst," says Mohammad Rizwan.
He says he underwent all the tests and treatments in the hope that it would enable him to play.
Referring to his illness before the semi-finals, he said, "I remember the doctor came and told me that Rizwan wants me to play in the semi-finals for Pakistan. That gave me more courage. "
Elaborating on the time he spent in the hospital, Rizwan said that the doctor later came to him and told him that if he would play the match, he would face various dangers.
When Allah had to make me sick I did and I came to the hospital. If anything happens to me after the match now I will not be sad because This will be for Pakistan.
Lean on Muhammad Rizwan;
After reaching Dhaka, Mohammad Rizwan said that at first he was holding his breath but now he is better and he will resume practice from tomorrow (Tuesday)..
Mohammad Rizwan was also seen walking with his pillow during the last few tours, which he has finally told about.
He says it is a medicated pillow as advised by doctors.
"The cricketer typically should bend down, typically he should get on my feet, he should wear a helmet that shrinks his neck, thus i take advantage of this pillow which provides Pine Tree State comfort whereas sleeping."
